All You Need To Know About Samsung Wireless Power Pack

You might have heard or even seen the new Samsung Wireless Battery Pack but I bet all the features of this power device may not be know by you.  Let's have a very quick look at the spec of this device.

Specifications:

Battery - 10,000mAh

Charging option - Qi wireless charging

USB - Type-C port,

Weight - 243g

The Samsung Wireless Battery Pack carry's  a metal body having  an anti-slip surface on one side.Which allows you to place phones and accessories to wireless charge and it's 100% safe and leaves you with no fear of your device facing damage. Moreover, there is a marked circular area on the anti-slip surface where you place the Samsung Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Buds for charging. On the side is a full-size USB port, a USB Type-C port, LED indicators and power on button for the power bank.

While some major problem of wireless battery pack remains the inability to charge fast, this Samsung product supports fast wired charging at QC 2.0 speed (15W max) – Testing  it with the Galaxy S10+ and Moto One Vision, it charged both phones from 10 to 100% in approx. two hours (wired charging) . While when tested with  wireless charging, the Wireless battery pack comes with fast charger support and is currently the only power bank to offer this feature. We used it with the Galaxy S10+, Pixel 3, Apple iPhone XS, Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Buds for wirel, ess charging and it worked seamlessly with all devices. While for wired charging, it automatically starts charging the phone as soon as its connected, you have to press the power button to start wireless charging. One cool features of this device is that It also supports simultaneous wired and wireless charging which is a handy feature for the power bank. A major drawback about this device is that  When connected to charge more than one device at same time , both will charge at normal charging speed instead of fast.

Samsung has smartly added fast charge capacity for the power bank as well. You use a fast USB Type-C charger and it takes around 4 hours to charge the power bank from 0 to 100%. While having a wireless charging option on a power-bank is not a new concept and there are a few options available on Online stores, they are mostly from unknown brands and don’t support fast charge.
