Solid Reasons Why Android Phones Are Better Than iPhones

  The debate about Android
and iPhone device has been on the rise right from the development of smartphones. Although most smartphones users already know about the background of Android and iPhone devices,For those who still don’t know yet, we are going to give you some basic information about these two.

Apple is the manufacturer of the iPhone devices as well as the developer of its operating system, iOS. Android, on the other hand, is developed by Google but its devices are manufactured by different brands and versions.
Although there are still many  operating systems that exists for smartphone devices like Windows Mobile, Blackberry OS, Symbian OS, Bada, and a lot more. But, they’re not as popular as Android and iOS. Maybe because their developers later switched to Android.
Before we look into the reasons why Android is better than iPhone, let’s have a quick review on some basic features that both Android and iPhone devices have in common:
    Both features 2G, 3G, 4G, or LTE
Privacy settings (especially for app permissions)
    They both feature bar
UI (swipe, tap, pinch, zoom, and etc.)
Voice assistants (Google Assistant and Siri)

REASONS WHY ANDRIOD IS BETTER THAN iPHONES

 First Reason :
CUSTOMIZATION
Customization is probably the best feature of Android devices that defeat the iPhone. Some tech-savvy Android fans even root their Android devices to go beyond just basic customization.
If you were an Android user who switched to iPhone, then you’ll probably be disappointed when you realize how limited is the custom features on the iPhone.
iPhone fans have a defense on their end as some of them say that only iPhones are already beautifully designed and doesn’t need much change. This is actually not that true because every time Apple releases new updates on its customization options, many of the iPhone users are always excited about it.
For Android, they allow  their users to  customize their smartphones with a lot of beautiful options as they wish compared to  iPhone.

   Second Reason :
COMPETITION
As stated earlier, Android devices are manufactured by different brands, therefore, there’s a high rate of competition between them which calls for massive improvement and cost reduction, Some brands boast that their products and make it more affordable and also offer the same features as to the expensive ones. Fortunately, this results in more options for smartphone buyers to decide which device will fit their budget.
iPhone doesn’t operate in that manner, because only Apple manufactures their smartphones. Therefore, they have the right to stick to their high prices because they don’t have a competition of devices in the same operating system, this leaves smartphone user with little or no option than to opt in for Android.

   Third Reason:
 FREE APPS
Some free apps on Android don’t count as free on iPhone devices. What’s worse than having a device that costs too much and you still have to pay for its apps? The ridiculous thing about this, is that you can also  install those apps for free through a much cheaper Android device. Yes, some apps work like that.
Although the reasons for this is best know by iPhone developers,But, maybe we could assume iPhone developers considered that- if people could pay for an expensive smartphone, why can’t they pay for an app?

      Fourth Reason:
 EXPANDABLE STORAGE
Knowing fully well that iPhone doesn’t have a micro-sd slot unlike most of the Android devices, this feature leaves iPhone users with no room for expanding their memory space, but for  Most of the Android devices that are available on the market today, they support expandable storage through Micro SD card.
But, if you would love to opt for an iPhone device with bigger memory space, guess what? You will have to pay $150 more to be able to get that or buy more storage on iCloud.

   Fifth Reason
MOBILE TRANSACTION
Generally, Smartphone brands and app developers continue to upgrade their products to give the best mobile experience to their users. Today, more and more people are switching to online, cardless and/or contactless method of payments for more secured transactions.

This technology is now applicable on most Android devices except NFC which is available on high-end Android smartphone devices only. This can be done through mobile payment apps that can be installed on Android devices.
iPhone has this feature too but there’s only one app that lets iPhone users make transactions through their phone and that is- Apple Pay. iPhone has NFC only and doesn’t support other mobile payment methods.
There are a lot of mobile payment apps and payment options for Android devices, unlike the iPhone.
Conclusion

Aside from the mentioned reasons above why Android is better than iPhone, there are still a lot of features that Android devices could bring to the table. But, we have to admit that there are also some features that the iPhone has and Android devices don’t have.
The best thing about today’s technology is that it focuses on people’s lifestyles, needsand most importantly financial status, we have to admit that both Android and iPhone are amazing devices which have been continuously upgrading to ensure their users have the best smartphone experience.
